Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, has announced Reese’s® Buzzer Beater ice cream as its March Flavor of the Month. The new flavor features a combination of peanut butter and chocolate-flavored ice cream with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
Throughout the month of March, Baskin-Robbins is offering its guests a Reese’s Buzzer Beater Layered Sundae, which features Reese’s Buzzer Beater ice cream, hot fudge, Reese’s Peanut Butter Sauce, chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and whipped cream.
“This March, we wanted to share the excitement of college basketball with our guests and feature a delicious and innovative flavor to honor one of the most popular sporting events of the year,” said Stan Frankenthaler, Baskin-Robbins executive chef and VP of innovation at Dunkin’ Brands. “Reese’s Buzzer Beater is our tribute to sports fans and ice cream lovers nationwide who want to enjoy a festive and flavorful treat while cheering on their favorite team.”
In participating Baskin-Robbins stores nationwide during the month of March, Reese’s Buzzer Beater ice cream is available by the scoop in a cup or cone—or as a layered sundae. Also available in fresh-packed pints and quarts, ice cream lovers can bring Reese’s Buzzer Beater home.
(Note: sizes for packed ice cream differs in California locations, which offer 12-oz and 8-oz. packages.)
